Help identify old medallion please?
I recently bought a Victorian? Locket book. It is Gold Tone (not yet proven, but it seems Solid Gold front and back) who has written on the front top to the shrine "memory" then a circle decorated so sorta leaves and a flower? then below that "Newman & Co, with more diagrams for the outer edges. measuring 3 cm by 2 cm and is really very nice. when opened, inside copper hinges 6 leaves / gold? (folds of the other), each with an image resembling the Welsh locals dressed in Victorian times, other pictures I saw I think these photos are around 1860-1880?. The sanctuary is in great condition, but only brought me Cause I liked it, as you can see I am not a collector. I spent all day on the web trying to find something on this medallion and can not find one thing? Does anyone know anything about it or I can point to a site I could help identify their origins. Thank you in advance for any help
